Erdal SÜRÜCÜ ("we", "our", or "us") respects the privacy of our players ("user", "you"). We developed the mobile application Backgammon X Arena ("Game" or "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use our Service.

a) Information You Provide to Us:

  • Profile Information: The username you provide and the avatar you select or the custom profile picture you upload when you create a profile in our Game.

  • Device Information: Your mobile device's model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
  • Location Information: We and our service providers (such as Microsoft PlayFab) collect approximate location data derived from your IP address to analyze gameplay regions, improve service performance, and ensure security.
  • Usage Data: Your in-game progress, statistics (win/loss count, level), in-app purchases (IAP) you make, and in-game behavior.
  • Advertising ID: Google Advertising ID (AAID - Android) or Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA - iOS) for the purpose of serving personalized advertisements.
  • Network Information: Your IP address to provide online (multiplayer) game services (via Fusion).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To Create and Manage Your Account: To create your profile and save your game progress.
  • To Provide the Service: To enable online multiplayer matches, match you with opponents, and allow other players to see your profile (username and avatar).
  • To Process In-App Purchases: To verify and deliver your purchases, such as token packages. (Note: Financial information, such as your credit card data, is not collected or stored by us; these transactions are processed securely and directly by Google Play or the Apple App Store.)
  • Personalization: To personalize your experience; ensuring the game is displayed in the correct language and region.
  • To Serve Advertising: To display advertisements (which may be based on your interests) to help us offer our Services for free.
  • To Provide Support: To provide technical support and respond to your inquiries.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your information to third parties, except in the following situations and with the following third parties:

  • Service Providers: With third-party vendors that provide services for our application.
    • Google (AdMob & Google Play): For ad delivery, analytics, and processing of in-app purchases.
    • Apple (App Store): For processing of in-app purchases.
    • Photon (Fusion): For providing online multiplayer services.
    • Unity: Our game engine is Unity, which may collect its own analytics data.

  • Other Players: During online play, your profile information, such as your username and avatar, will be visible to your opponent.
  • Legal Obligations: We may share information with public authorities if required by law or to prevent fraud.

4. Advertising (AdMob)

Our Game displays ads from third-party ad networks, such as Google AdMob. These networks may use your advertising ID (AAID/IDFA) and other technical data to serve ads tailored to your interests.

You can limit this personalization through your device's settings:

  • For iOS: Go to Settings > Privacy > Tracking and turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track."
  • For Android: Go to Settings > Google > Ads and select "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization."

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to secure your information. However, please note that no transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age limit in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.

7. Data Retention and Your Rights

We will delete your information within a reasonable time after you stop using our Game or request account deletion, except as required by legal obligations. You have the right to access or request the deletion of your data by contacting us at surucugame@gmail.com.
